Submissions

Send Us Your Film

Cosmic Films is always seeking completed films in the sci-fi and horror genres. Although we will consider all films under the sci-fi/horror umbrella, we are especially seeking cosmic horror, supernatural horror, creature features, and dark sci-fi.

Specs:

Below is the standard list of technical deliverables/specs that will be required to place your film onto the many distribution platforms we work with: 

​

Video:

​

  • QuickTime format with ProRes 422HQ codec. 

  • Minimum resolution of 1920x1080.

  • Original aspect ratio and frame rate.

  • Include all textless items.

​

Audio:

​

  • WAV files using PCM Uncompressed 48 kHz 16 or 24 bit.

  • Must have a minimum of a stereo mix. Mono is not acceptable.

  • Include all stems for the 5.1 mix. 

  • Separate dialogue, music, and effects stems.

  • Follow standard audio channel mapping (1 - left, 2 - right, 3 - center, 4 - LFE, 5 - LS, 6 - RS, etc.)

  • Include a music cue sheet and licenses for any corresponding music used in the film and trailer.

Artwork:​

​

  • Full resolution poster art, both portrait and landscape, if available.

  • Raw Photoshop artwork files if available.

  • Any behind the scenes/promotional pictures.

By making a submission to Cosmic Films, you will be deemed to have acknowledged that unless we enter into a separate written agreement that is signed by you and our authorized representative, we have no obligation to you, we will have no liability to you for any use or disclosure of your submission, and you have no claim against us or anyone else based on or arising out of your submission or any use or disclosure thereof, and you irrevocably release us from any such claim.
