Cosmic Films Brings 'Death Among the Pines' to Blu-ray and DVD

Cosmic Films will release the independent mystery thriller feature Death Among the Pines on Blu-ray and DVD beginning Tuesday, October 6th, 2026.

Written and directed by Nathan Shepka, Death Among the Pines follows Angela, who shelters a stranded stranger at her cottage. When police arrive hunting an escapee, she realizes the connection - but the situation may not be what it seems.

The film arrives on physical media following a successful digital run, including a release on Tubi, where the film has found an audience among independent horror viewers.

“Death Among the Pines is exactly the kind of independent genre film we like bringing to physical media,” said Danny Takacs, owner of Cosmic Films. “Nathan has built an audience for the film through its digital releases, and we’re excited to give horror fans another way to discover it and add it to their collections.”

The film is available on retailers including Amazon, Walmart, and Deep Discount.
